Construction and Maintenance Manager
High Tide Inc. is seeking a Construction and Maintenance Manager, in Calgary, AB. Our organization is fast paced, growing, and highly successful in the cannabis retail space. As a Construction and Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance projects, renovations, and construction tasks across various sites. This role will support the Director in coordinating project timelines, managing resources, and ensuring work is done to standard procedures. The successful candidate will develop skills in project management, vendor relations, and site safety while contributing to maintaining the facilities to ensure safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support project coordination for maintenance and construction, assisting with scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
- Work closely with the Director to monitor project progress and report updates.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with all applicable safety standards and building codes.
- Help manage inventory for tools, materials, and equipment to support ongoing maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Conduct basic inspections to identify maintenance needs and assist in scheduling repairs.
- Support in budgeting and documentation by organizing invoices, records, and related documents.
- Provide on-site support as required for new project setups, renovations, or routine maintenance.
- Engage in training and development opportunities to build knowledge in construction management and site maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Relevant certifications or work experience accepted.
- 2 years of experience in a construction, facilities, or maintenance-related field.
- Basic knowledge of construction processes and terminology.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various sites as needed.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Work Conditions:
- Regular travel to multiple locations may be required.
- Flexibility in hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
- Safety equipment, such as hard hats and steel-toed boots, will be required for site visits.
