NuLeaf Naturals LLC., a leading manufacturer of CBD products, is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Quality and Compliance Manager. This is an onsite role located in Englewood, CO.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Quality and Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring the company’s continued compliance with manufacturing standards along with inspecting products and developing new quality control procedures.

Responsible for implementation and execution of the Quality Management System

(QMS) encompassing the entire organization. Facilitate and assist in the stewardship of

operations policies and procedures to ensure that all products meet consistent standards. Creation and enforcement of quality guidelines adhering to GMP standards, as well as supervising daily operations of production staff, developing and implementing quality control tests, inspecting products at various stages, and writing reports documenting operational issues. This role is expected to maintain a high degree of autonomy in making critical decisions on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination and supervision of Quality Department staff and daily operations.

• Monitors compliance standards as defined by NSF/ANSI 455-2-2021 standards as well as

state and federal regulations; coordinates all aspects of implementation including

processes, procedures, documentation, and training.

• Lead and coordinate internal and external audits as required to ensure all manufacturing

certifications and standings are maintained on a yearly basis.

• Manage implementation and monitor the effectiveness of the internal manufacturing

sanitation program.

• Manage and enforce our internal NCR/CAPA and change order process.

• Responsible for the continued development of a comprehensive quality assurance and

records management program; evaluates existing policies and procedures to coordinate

internal practices and to ensure compliance with regulations; works closely with branch

staff to develop procedures and forms.

• Coordinates and oversees training and staff development activities in areas pertaining to

GMP standards, standard operating procedures, quality assurance, and records

management.

• Identify and implement continuous improvements for GMP processes.

• Oversee 3rd party product testing protocols, monitor results, and compile/upload CoAs

for traceability.

• Liaise with the parent organization’s compliance department to ensure compliance

directives pertaining to FTC guidelines, products, and packaging are implemented

throughout the brand.

• Ensure internal and external quality agreements are in place and enforced.

• Audit and implement methods to inspect, test, and evaluate products and production

equipment.

• Effectively communicate with internal and external parties as it pertains to our QMS,

quality objectives, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

· Prior QA/QC experience in Cannabis/CBD/Hemp industry or CPG food industry

· Familiar with NSF Certification process

· Familiar with CGMP

· Experience creating and implementing quality control procedures

· Strong written communication skills and attention to details

Compensation:

Your starting annual base will be USD $65,000 - 75,000.00 per year paid biweekly (less deductions and taxes), scheduled for a minimum of 40 hours per week. Hours may fluctuate based on the needs of the business. All payable in accordance with the regular payroll practices of the Company.

Benefits:

Participation in the Company benefits plan is available after 90 days of employment; including

employer paid Health, Dental, Vision, and Life. You will be eligible for Flexible PTO and Sick/Flex time after 90 days. A 401(k) plan is available after 1 year of employment.
